i have used this hospital for my oldest son after he broke is leg playing football six years ago .he had to have three major surgeys and his leg is still not fixed right.he needs more surgery but he is 19 years old now and i cant make him have anymore done.but shriners hospital took wonderful care of him while he was there.they made sure we had everything we needed while we were there.they are one of the best place to donate to.i always buy there paper and donate to there boots.

South Florida is extrememly expensive, yet under the guise of the non-custodial parent assisting, I enrolled all three kids in public school here. We have lived here for over seven [7 yrs], although I am not quite sure how. Just after the hurricanes, I lost all child support and took a full-time job that barely made enough to pay the basics....and did not qualify for assistance. I need a grant to pay for and support me in law school. My goal after law school is to break up and destroy the crazy laws that govern children being placed with dangerous, apathetic, terrible parents. My wife and I are fostering a child abandoned by the mother. The mother lives in the streets and is drug addicted. The courts have fallen over themselves trying to "reunite". Social services is next on my list to breakup. What we have here is state supported and advocated child endangerment and abuse. My every living breath will be devoted to making a myself the worst enemy of the Family Law System and Social Services as it exists today.

Hi my name is Lana and I am a aspiring nurse. I am currently a cna and want much more out of the health care field. I was recently fired from my job in a long-term care facility due to too many call offs. I devloped a bleeding gastric ulcer and was instructed by my physician not go to work because stress could make it much worse. I was even given a excuse form my doctor . As i was still in my 90 day probationarie period, It didn't matter to them and fired my anyway. To top it all off, about a week ago, I received 3 14day shut off notices from my utilite companies. I have had interveiws lately but even if I get hired I have to wait until my tuberculiousis screenings are done.They are a two step test that takes 2 weeks to do. I have tried negotiating with the utlitie companies but its harder to do when you have no job. I also applied for unemployment but haven't heard anything yet. I dont no what to do anymore. Im about to be on the street and 10 steps back from my dream. I am so scared right now that I dont even want to walk out side my door. I just sleep and hope it will all turn around some way.
If you can find it in your heart to help me any way you can would be appreciated. To go back to school would be around $5000 and my utilities are in the 1000 dollar range. Any contribution would help at this moment even to know that someone cares.

My name is Bridget.
I am a single parent of three young men ages 14-10. I am a widow for 14 years now. I stopped working a year ago because I was afraid of my children going into the state system. I sacrificed greatly for them. I was a security guard for 1 1/2 years. I worked the grave yard shift. I get SSI and child support, I do not recieve any other assistance except for medical. It is hard for me to get a full time job. Yet I still look and keep trying. I'm in a financial bind right now. Because of me not working I developed some debt that I wish I didn't have. And it is very hard to budget with what I have. My kids are growing and I still need to work to feed them and to buy them clothes. I have three websites which aren't making me any money, I remain hopeful, I want to advertise and market my websites so that I can see some money being made off of them. I would like $2,500.00 to take care a few very important bills, that need urgent attention now. I also would like to start advertising my websites better, so I can see income. I am trying to remain home for my children untill they are grown, I would also like to work part-time on the side, I would like benefits, retirement, 401K etc.

Okay i read some more now i think maybe it's okay to tell a little of my story.I am a 54 yr old woman who's husband died in 1999.I applied for my widow's pension after losing my job in March of 2006,seven months later they approved it and now i get 500.00 dollars a month.However by then my car had been repossessed and my light bill was over 600 dollars.I can only pay 100 a month on it.I caught up on my rent so i'm only one month behind.My only problem is a car,if i could get a car i know i could find employment.The city i live in is much to dangerous to even think of walking to a bus stop.When i do start working again i will come back and try to help someone else i am sure i can afford at least 20 dollars a month.Thank you for listening. This the only place i can say this because let's face it no one really cares one way or the other about other people's problems.
